Our Speakers

Mike Starkey: No till innovator farmer host that partners with his nephew Jeff in operating a 7th generation farm in Brownsburg Indiana. Mike has hosted several workshops to promote and educate others with the soil health practices that he uses at his farm.

Carter Morgan: No Till farmer from Cayuga, IN. Carter started at a young age as the fourth generation on the family farm producing corn, soybeans and wheat. In addition to farming with his family, Carter serves as a soil health consultant at the local Soil and Water Conservation District where he promotes conservation practices such as no-till, cover crops and conservation management.

Bob Barr: Bob's work focuses broadly on what is required to achieve and maintain healthy stream systems in a continually changing landscape. Primary research projects include the Indiana Fluvial Hazard Mitigation Program, a multi-agency program that's goal is the reduction of the erosion hazard during flooding; and the School Branch National Water Quality Initiative, where researchers from multiple agencies are assessing methods to provide sustainable water resources in the Eastern Corn Belt, during a time of changing agricultural practices, changing land use, and changing climate.

Greg Knarr: Since joining alliantgroup in 2010, Knarr has partnered with the nation's leading CPA firms to help maximize the tax claims of hundreds of companies. He specializes in helping businesses in Midwest in industries such as manufacturing, tooling and machining. Greg is a frequent featured speaker and author on topics related to the availability and utilization of the R&D Tax Credit.
